We are providing collaborative care with direct-entry midwives, nurse-midwives, lactation consultants, doulas, and educators. We anticipate adding other modalities to enhance the health of Colorado families as the need and desire grows.

Midwives of the Rockies endeavors to provide quality and comprehensive care to families desiring a home birth in Colorado. Other high quality services will also be provided with the same personal touch that is a hallmark of midwifery care.
Midwives of the Rockies also encourages active informed consent by providing complete, relevant, objective information to facilitate decision-making. Each family is encouraged to accept full responsibility for their birthing experience by being active participants throughout pregnancy, labor, childbirth and postpartum.
Midwives of the Rockies is concerned with the promotion of women’s health, holistically combining an understanding of the social, emotional, spiritual, psychological, and physical implications of a woman’s birthing experience.
The midwives of Midwives of the Rockies desire to restore dignity to women as they birth their children naturally, with strength and honor. The midwives respect each individual woman and her family in her birthing choices.
